ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jenny Curtis graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Anthropology, and an M.A. in Sociology, in 1996. She has worked with children in the United States, Switzerland, Kenya, and Indonesia, and takes great interest in cross-cultural children's issues and their relationship to education. She will spend the coming months establishing a solar-cooker project in northern Kenya, and hopes to work as an international relief field agent and travel writer/photo-journalist one day.
