The Big Picture

Disney's Lion King Animated Storybook is an entertaining animated storybook for children between 4 and 10. Much of its entertainment value comes from its tight linkage with the movie from which it is derived. If your kids loved the movie, they will like this title.

It is also a potentially useful supplementary reading tool for young pre-readers and beginning readers. For older children, its value is almost entirely entertainment -- that you can allow your children to view independently.
